This post is more to help out the Guys but I thought it would fit in well hear. While on vacation my wife and daughter wouldn’t stay out of the gift shops. It was driving my sons and me crazy. Than it came to me fight fire with fire. Every time she entered a gift shop I purchased a Lobster roll. After 5 of those baby’s .The tide shifted. So guys lets take back our wallets.

That reverse psychology doesn’t work with me. In fact, the more stuff Andy buys the more I feel the need to keep up with him. So, you’re going to have to work out a different plan for me!
Keep the ideas coming though. The first step for us women solving our shopping problems is admitting that we have one. I am here to tell you that I am a SHOPAHOLIC.

See the thing is…my deal is whatever my husband spends I get to spend an equal amount. Lucky for me he loves to buy motorcycles. I think he is up to 4 in the last 6 months. The guilt is completely alleviated when I realize I have to spend another 10K just to be in the game.
Don’t pick on your poor wives, just don’t go shopping with them. Both you and they will appreciate it.

Stop shopping with your wife. It can only lead to divorce. Have you ever heard something good coming from an all day shopping trip with your wife? NO

You don’t go shopping WITH the wife. You each go shopping, but each to his/her own store. You too can create a Zen shopping experience if done correctly!
This is how it is done: ladies you send the husband off to the electronic store or the tool store or the motorcycle or car dealer and then you go off to Nordstroms, Walmart, Target….whatever floats your boat. I guaranty the price tag on their items will be higher than anything we can come up with. They guys think that just because their items don’t come home in a Target or Nordstrom bag that they haven’t gone shopping! PLEASE!!
