People need to be slapped. Crap, why would you want your kids to have the same disability that you do? Sure people can succed with a disability but it makes life more challenging. Most things in life are built for those that fit the norm.

For parents to not want their children to be better than themselves in anyway mentally, physically, etc is wrong and selfish. The doctor doing this should be beaten as well as the parents. When it comes to a challenging life, like Andy mentioned, would you not want your children to have as easy alife as possible. What the hell are these people thinking?

John. Nothing more than natures “natural selection” Thing is… as soon as they are born a Dwarf/handicap they qualify for disability SSI… hummmm parents that know the system…..

Yes, but if you can engineer them short why not tall or to have the tendency to be stronger. Will the disability SSI money be more than if they could play a professional sport or wait………be happier in their everyday life. Wait till the children are a little older and understand that their parents made that choice, I bet they will be happy then.

I believe most people have a moral compass without the benefit of religion, simply from the way they were raised. I’ve always said that it’s not God I have a problem with, its his fan club. Even without religious beliefs, in my opinion, those people that are altering pregnancies, for a negative effect, definately have a problem with their moral compass.

Those parents, for their own selfish reasons, want their offspring to have what they have, in order to justify all they have ever had the opportunity to acheive. It is called a self fulfilling prophecy. It is where they have to justify what they have done or is doing or ever received.
