MemberTom, we’re motoring down I-4 as I type. I’ve written down your C #. I’ll talk to you this evening. Dinner? Drinks? Brass Polls?
Ok, Forget the brass polls….

MemberThe tiny town of Orlando, Florida is a quaint burg that might otherwise be missed completely, save for a few roadside attractions. Part of this idyllic, pastoral setting is the fact that there are very few hotel rooms in the area.
I pulled into the Days Inn Orlando at approx. dinner time. the hotel staff were quite understanding when i asked for a room shift to accommodate a late arriving friend from the Georgia area, who will be staying here Friday night. I found my room to be a very spacious 11 feet by 22 feet with everything a traveling midget could want for. The refrigerator promised has yet to be located, which of course is perfectly understandable considering the expansive size of the place.
Mory, the friendly pastor of the local church was gracious enough to stop by and show me the town. A friend from a distant past, Sandy, met up with us before we retired to combustatory enjoyment. Kevin, editor of one of those fancy city type magazinies joined us, and we, and another friend from the publishing trade went out to search for the small-town offerings that places like this are reknown for.
The evening went swimmingly for all, until we were joined last by four mean looking blokes from up the road. I was nervous for a bit that these were the town toughs one hears about in backwater towns such as this. Nervously, we asked them to join us for the meal and to our surprise they accepted.
Whether it was the meal, the company, or maybe both, the evening was an entertaining one, full of mirth, merriment, and the American WayTM.
Stunning us all at the end, we found out that Dave – the toughest-looking one with the giant friend, paid for our meal in it’s entireity, saving yours truly from revealing the potentially embarrassing detail of paying my share in Monopoly money. My secret safe for another day, The Reverend walked me back to my room and hailed the carriage to take him back home.
I can’t wait to find out what surprises this little hamlet will reveal to me tomorrow.

KeymasterVal and I just got here in Orlando and we decided to get the upgrade on the car. She got a brand new Ford Mustang Convertible. I asked how Mory was going to fit and she replied, “I don’t know”.
We will figure that out in the morning I guess.
After spending all day on Jet Blue you can’t wait to get your feet on the ground and start walking around.
I will see all you Thursday Morning.

MemberArrived Thursday morning to help set up the FabNet booth, after that a great lunch with Mory, Andy and Val, Joe C. and Lynn, back to the Fabnet booth and I finally meet Tom Mather, who would have probably joined us for lunch had he brought his cell phone with him, hmm

KeymasterHey all,
We all went to the Breakfast and it was semi ok. Not many new people but still nice.
Then we headed over to the booth to set up. Fedsaw Dave and Wes helped us set everything up along with Joe, Norm and the wives. With the help of Sandy Milroy from Cygnus we got some really nice carpet, couple chairs and tables to match. Booth looks good for the first time.
Tomorrow we start with teaching a class and then off to the show.

MemberHey, all.
We googed off today, space center. Will get there tommorrow at 9:00 am.
I have no sympathy at all for Mory. We are frequent renters with budget, and they upgrade us usually. This time I asked for a four door and they gave us a two door sports car. I’m getting too old to crawl into one of those, especially after dinner.
See you guys tomorrow.

MemberDear Mom and Dad,
Camp Googing is a neat place. I miss you guys, but I’m having a great time.
Today I learned about how kitchens are wonderful places where everything in the world can happen, and often does.
I also learned about the prophet Motive, and his acts of goods sold, and what that cost him. I’m not sure the teacher likes this guy, because he kept referring to gross prophet. I also learned that it sucked to deal with commercial contractors, so tell dad not to do that commercial he was planning on.
After class we all went to a cool place where we got to pull some pork and mahi someone’s mahi (I never found out who’s).
Then we went on a neat helicopter ride to an arctic gift shop. When we went out the door, I found out that we didn’t really go on a helicopter ride at all, what a gyp.
I saw some bus drivers aqrgue with each other, then I went back to my cabin. I’ll write more tomorrow.
Oh! I almost forgot to tell you – remember that Jonny Olsen boy you guys are always talking about? How he seems real nice and had a great attitude, even though someone forgot to put an H in his name?. Well, he got some special prize today. Something about the best fabric tater of the year or something. I didn’t know what that was, but me ‘n’ Joey were whoopin’ for him anyway. People looked at us kind of funny, but we didn’t care. I got to sit next to him when I learned about the prophet stuff. he’s a nice kid.
Love you both, and tell sis that the big fish had babies.
