MemberHas anybody used thes sinks from Affinity? They are the Atlas Solid Surface Sink. They are priced very reasonable. I ordered a couple to try and they look good. Any Comments?

MemberWade,
I have not had a chance to try the Atlas. I have ordered the Brighton acrylic sinks but they are a completely different type of sink, basically a Karran sink with a different name.

KeymasterI think I just bought one but I am not positive. I got an order from Affinity the other day and I can’t remember what sinks I bought to test. The china sink was one and the cast acrylic solid surface was the other. Not sure the name though. I will keep you posted.

MemberAndy,
If you got one of the Brighton’s let me know how the quality of the flange is. I have received a couple that were really rounded over on the inside edge and I would like to know if that is what I should expect as the norm.

KeymasterShane,
Just opened the box and the Brighton “Cambridge” is the one I bought. The flange is perctly sharp and not rounded on the top flange or the in the bowl leading up to the top.
Is the Cambridge the same sink you are talking about?

MemberWade,
I have two of the Atlas vanies waiting to go into some clearance sheet goods I bought.
Waiting…….Waiting…….Waiting……..
Note To Self: ALWAYS ask about lead times on non standard orders!!!!!
I’ll let you know how they work out. It’ll be a week or two though.

MemberAndy,
I still have an Abby and a Bristol that have a bad flange and I have received a Stratford at no charge because of the problems. The Stratford was not rounded over at the flange but had a chipped edge, but it was slight and worked out okay. I have not used their vanity bowls yet. I was just wondering if it was a problem with all the sinks, sounds like it is not.

I just used a couple of the Atlas vanity sinks. They have a flat and sharp flange. The sinks seam to be a very durable and well constructed. The price is really nice if you buy in quantities. Hopefully they don’t end up being one of those things that you get what you pay for.
