Joe,Please do your study and include hard measurements, in lieu of the usual anecdotal touchy, feely, observational bullshit.
I will do a peer (and I use the term loosely) review on it. Please include precison and accuracy as well as calibration of all instuments used. Dont forget about uncetainty in measurement and propagation of uncertainty. (i.e an uncertainty table included in report). Im sure they didn’t teach that in macro, or micro economics, or history or psych, or any other humanistic BS course..but its a staple in calculus based
physics, chemistry or any other ‘real world” quantifible subject”.Welcome to my world
Lenny, In your world, does a shot contain 1.5 ounces or 2.0 ounces? Just trying to get a basis for your world of wonder….

In my world the answer to that would depend on the gage of the gun, and the shot used. Since I’m a 12 gage 00 buckshot fan, the shot would have a weight of approximately 1 & 1/8 ounces.
If you use a mix of 00, number 4 and number 1 shot for interstetial packing purposes, the weight is much higher.
