if your flat polishing the edge to do like a square polish an using the six step pads you can take your 5 step large radius pads and use them also and that does save alot of time and money. run the number 3 at 100 psi and your speed at 100.if you set your grinding speed at 65 you do not have to reset your flags, but you have to run your second grind cup and not your first one. the first one leaves grind marks that you cannot get out. we were running the 6 step flat polish pads and they were like like 100 dollars a piece. the 5 step pads work just as well and are much cheaper.
