Your Bosch will do a great job! I use one and do not have any finishing issues. I learned a long time ago that finishing has much more to do with how you actually finish your tops, don’t think for a minute that just buying a new tool will improve your finish. to improve your finish you must change how you finish first.

That is true, but a better tool makes the job easier and faster. You could not use a power sander at all and get a great finish. If you want to build two kitchens a month.
I was on a job site once and when one of the local yokels walked in he was amazed by the amount of tools I bring to a job. He asked why I needed all of these expensive tools when the pyramids were build with just a hammer and chisel and they seem to be pretty well built. I told him it was because I do not have 1,000,000 slaves and decades to get my work done. Point is good tools do not equal quality work, but the combination of education, skill and good tool will put out quality work and save time in the process.
Don’t get me wrong, the Bosch is a nice sander. So are the Porter Cable and a few others, but I have never had any hand power tool match any tool put out by Festool for quality and usability. Yes they are expensive and no I do not have a shop full of them (yet), but the do pay for themselves rather quickly in time saved and quality output.
Just my opinion, your mileage may vary, objects in mirror are closer than they appear.
